Other/historical names associated with this locality:
Hargreaves station; Dom Bosco station; Trino

On the border of Cachoeira do Campo and Miguel Burnier districts, Ouro Preto municipality.

Named after a train station built in 1896, initially as Hargreaves, changed to Dom Bosco in 1934.

Note by Reynaldo Contreira (in more detail; from https://www.mindat.org/mesg-646634.html):

β€œHargreaves was the first name of a train station close to Cachoeira do Campo, built in 1896. During this time, a deposit of Topaz, Euclase, Quartz was found some hundred meters away. Later in 1934, the station was renamed Dom Bosco. Some evidences can be found in Portuguese:
https://www.revistas.usp.br/bffcluspmineralogia/article/download/121632/118530/227089 and
http://www.estacoesferroviarias.com.br/efcb_mg_pontenova/dombosco.htm. The confusion was created when another train station, initially named MetalΓΊrgica, was renamed as Hargreaves, also in 1934. This station is closer to Miguel Burnier and without mineral deposits close to it. The latter is the Hargreaves you can find in OpenStreetMap.”

400 m NE of Hargreaves.
