Access Description: Drive 1.5 km north of Eldorado P.O. on Hwy 62. Turn left on County Road 11 and drive 5.4 km to transmission line. Drive 1.4 km from left turn at high tension wire transmission towers. Walk 242 m south through swamp, 303 m along fence. Walk east along old track near hilltop.
Red hematite and maghemite fragments are abundant in the basal Paleozoic conglomerate which overlies a Precambrian magnetite skarn deposit occurring in calcitic marble. (OFR 5751, p111).
