Small research works in Bathonian to Argovian black marls (250 m of trenches and wells). Very old works stopped in 1900.
"(Coming from Laragne-Montéglin). South of Serres on the N75. At Laragne follow the D22A north. In the hamlet of Argentière, there are excavations with calcite, chalcopyrite, cerussite, galena, pyrite, and sphalerite on the dumps." [Belot, 1978]
