Two adjacent quarries located on both sides of Roman road Via Laurentina at Km 11, named CO.BI.LA. quarry and Covalca quarry.
These work early quaternary volcanic rocks classified as basaltic leucitite, with pyroxenes, melilite and nepheline. The lava contains a lot of minerals in its hydrothermal veins and geodes.
