An opencast tin-columbia-tantalum mine owned by ISCOR (subsidiary of Industrial Minerals Mining Corp.). Production at 1,200 tons/year Sn concentrates at 64% Sn. Very large tin reserves, but low grade. Discovered in 1911, major production from 1940s to its closing in 1990.
