A former U-V occurrence/mine located about 8 km (4.9 miles) WSW of Gateway, at the head of Lumsden Canyon (about 1.2 km E of the Utah state line).

In the years 1951, 1954, 1965, 1970, and 1971 Pack Rat produced an average of 500 tons of ore per month averaging 0.18% U3O8 and 2.0% V2O5.
