A former mine located in sec. 12, T5N, R11E, MDM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) NW of Mokelumne Hill (town), S of Big Bar along the Mokelumne River. Operated in 1905 and around 1937. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite. The ore body is 3.66 meters thick. Diorite occurs to the E with granodiorite to the W. The vein is 5 to 12 feet thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of an 80 foot S and 60 foot N shafts with connecting crosscut drift adit and crosscut adits.
