Abandoned brucite marble quarry at an elevation of about 1400 m in Valle di Penèz, a side valley of Ronchi Valley.
This brucite marble, commercially known as pearl grey marble, is the product of contact metamorphism, originated from Cenozoic basaltic intrusions in Late Triassic dolostone (Dolomia Principale Formation).
