Hill range located about 8 km ESE of Kyaukse. The area shows a complex geology composed of different kinds of marbles, gneisses, calc-silicates, phyllites, quartzites. The grade of metamorphism decreases from West to East.
The calcareous metasediments are quarried for cement production.
