This is a graphite prospect held as an exploration area by Buxton Resources (85%) and Montezuma Mining (15%) (2015). The exploration company does not provide location details, but if the deposit is named after geographical features including a road, hill and outstation, then it should be somewhere north of the Byro Station Homestead, approximately 200 kilometres north of the Murchison Settlement. The Mindat co-ordinates mark the Yalbra outstation.
The company claims the deposit has the highest grade graphite in Australia, at 2.27 Mt @ 20.1% TGC. 15 drill holes showed graphite ranging from 26.85 to 33.0% TGC. The company has taken over outlying graphite tenements Coordewandy and Gum Creek. The target area contains several historic exploration trenches showing visible graphite along a 4 kilometres strike as medium to coarse flakes.

This geological map and associated information on rock units at or nearby to the coordinates given for this locality is based on relatively small scale geological maps provided by various national Geological Surveys. This does not necessarily represent the complete geology at this locality but it gives a background for the region in which it is found.
