Was located on the eastern slope of a rise about half a kilometre east from the Morning Star lease. Has now probably been gobbled up by the large Morning Star open pit or other workings in the area. The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate and only denote the Morning Star pit.
The surface was said to be strewn with numberless small leaders, with an east-west main lode, which came to the surface in three big blows.
In 1898 there was a prospecting shaft which had produced 10 tonnes average 2 oz/t. In the shaft was 35 feet down, there was 15 feet of drives to the north, east and west. Gold the size of peas was said to be studding the rocks.
