Stöck, (Roer und Stöck) An old zinc mine (Vieille-Montagne)
At the site of the former Stöck mine is now an orchard.
There are still traces of former mining, a ground subsidence, a water feature. there is even a neighbor who, once he has built his house, learned than an old shaft lies beneath his driveway.
Pb-Zn Mine operated between 1926 and 1938.
The 26 miners worked at two levels; -30m and -80m.
Total production; 1.108 tons calamine, 9.955 tons schalenblende and 1.277 tons of galena.
