An open pit gold mine near the northern shores of the Lake Cowan salt-pan. Several other small open pits are nearby, including Josephine about 500 metres north, and Sophia 200 metres south amongst others. At the time of writing (2015), Metals X was actively developing the deposit with plans to expand the pit. Ore was being carted to its Higginsville processing plant, 20 kilometres to the south-west.
