Located approximately 40 kilometres north-west of Coolgardie. Mining began around 1897, and continued until 1915, with batteries at the Pride of Jourdie, Pride of Jourdie North, and Jourdie Enterprise mines. The first two mines border the eastern side of the Jaurdi Hills Road, and other small historic mines are found further east. In 2001, small open pits called Black Cat North and Panther were developed bordering the west side of the Jaurdi Hills Road.
