Very limited information was found for this location between 1895 to 1898. The Australian Gold Trust purchased the mine for 5000 pounds late 1895 from the original prospectors. Further, they purchased the Doncaster, Fitzroy and Dargo leases, totalling 72 acres, also at Dunn's Eight Mile late 1896. Their intention was to erect a 10 head stamp battery to process stone from all four leases, but no information was found this went ahead.
A trial crushing was found August 1898 of 145 tonnes at 42 ounces and 5 dwt. September 1898 120 tonnes yielding 25 ounces at 13 dwt. No more information was found.
