Pegmatite exposed during building of a house in 1983. At that time, it was located at Gründlweg (Gründl road); later the name had changed to Knappenweg (Knappen road).
In 1983, with permission of the house owner, a short adit was driven to extract the pegmatite. Beryl crystals up to 12 cm in length were found (Knobloch, 2012).
