Said to be located about 750 metres south-west of the old Linden town site. The earliest report found was 1899 when the mine was being developed by Daly and Francis (surnames), with a main shaft to 110 feet on a reef showing fine and coarse gold.

The lease was 5 acres in granite country with a small rich leader being worked on the Hanging Wall, and a larger patchy reef on the Footwall. A large amount of gold won from the mine in the early days was dollied.

Beyer (surname) is noted with a crushing in 1908, and Perry (surname) in 1912. Little else was found.

A review in 2018 found little south-west of the old Linden town site other than sand dunes and mulga, and therefore the co-ordinates have been altered to approximate.
