The Boston Shaker open pit is the northern most of the line being mined.
The deposit is truncated by large scale shears along its northern margin. The mineral zone dips 15 to 35 degrees south-east, and is cut by the enclosing garnet gneiss and quartzo-feldpathic gneiss at a low angle. Mineralisation is hosted by discrete faults, with damage zones that pinch and swell along the strike. The east north-east trending Boston Shaker Shear Zone has displaced the deposit 270 metres to the north-east. Some parts of the deposit are overlain by thin stacked ore zones with alteration envelopes, but are thinner than those found at the Havana deposit.
