Cravariola Valley (also known as Cravairola Valley or Cravairola Alp) is the name given to the upper part of Campo Valley (Valle di Campo), a right-side valley of Maggia Valley. This territory, rich in seasonal pastures, belongs to the municipality of Montecrestese (province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont), while the remaining sector of the valley is part of the Swiss canton of Ticino [see http://www.mindat.org/loc-191374.html].
