A quarry started in about 2015, in Precambrian dolostone, including some pre-Jurassic karst-fill structures. The dolostone and karst-fill has been intruded by Jurassic dolerite, resulting in some variable, anhydrous to hydrous, magnesian skarns, incorporating a wide range of Ca-Mg minerals.
