C-Level Cirque Hiking Trail takes one through the Upper Bankhead mine ruins on the Cascade mountain side. The trail estimates from the town pamphlets are slightly off, and one should expect a well maintained trail continually uphill for approximately 1.5 km to the lookout and adit ruins. Remember to respect the local wildlife and travel with a bear bell and not alone for this locality.
