GML 73. Reef strikes north-south, dips 75 degrees east, reef 2 inches wide at the surface. Two shafts were only on the lease before 1908, 50 feet apart, connected at the 30 foot level. The reef faulted at the northern end. 16 tonnes produced 1897 for 23.88 ounces gold.
1935, Herbert Richard Sleeman of Whim Creek, and former Whim Creek mine manager, pegged a 20 acres lease GML 76 H, just south-west of the Break of Morn mine, and also the Hong Kong mine on the Friendly Creek Goldfield.
