Bedrock excavations for water and sewer lines at City Lane and Beaurepaire Drive in Beaconsfield in August 1993 revealed mineral-lined cavities in Beekmantown dolostone (Ordovician age). This is an ephemeral locality that was available for mineral collecting for only a few days. It was notable for blue celestine crystals to 3 cm. Such crystals are very rare in the Montréal region.
3 valid minerals.
