'Lamprophyllite Group'
Formula: AP2MH2MO4(Si2O7)2(XOM)2(XOA)2
Description: Barytolamprophyllite (from the Eifel localities) was originally mentioned by Hentschel. He used this name to describe Ba-rich members of the Lamprophyllite-group. These minerals were investigated in more detail during the last years and turned out to be new Ba-rich species of the Lamprophyllite-group. (Schüllerite, Lileyite and the Fe-Analogon of Lileyite) In the recent investigations Barytylamprophyllite sensu stricto was not detectable.
