A magnesite mine located 23 miles SE of Thessaloníki (Salonica). Owned by P.D. Vryenis. Produced 15,000 tons of raw material per year. Reserves were 100,000 tons (1947).
The magnesite veins cut dunite, serpentinite, and websterite.
