Casuarina Creek is an east-west trending waterway, as a tributary of the Berkeley River, in the far north-east Kimberley. It is very remote. In the early to mid 1970's, the Ashton Joint Venture stream sampled a number of creeks and rivers across this region looking for diamonds. In Casuarina Creek they recovered 154 alluvial diamonds totalling 12.88 carats. All were small at less than 1 carat each, often with green and brown surface spots, and with irregular shapes. A small number of good quality stones were found, but uneconomic. Map denotes the creek, but the exact location of the discovery is uncertain. The Seppelt diamond discovery is a number of kilometres to the south-west.
