Annie's Gap is named after an aboriginal woman who discovered gold at the site. It is 10 kilometres north of the Mugarinya Community, where the Yule River squeezes through a mountain range.
The location is mentioned in passing in the historic accounts, and appears to have been a brief fling by prospectors before being abandoned.
The location has no clear access tracks, needs the permission of the local aboriginal community, and the writer was unable to find any gold workings by satellite images.
The Mindat co-ordinates mark the Annie's Gap geographic location.
