Inactive limestone quarry located about 1/4 mile northwest of Holmesville, Nebraska, for aggregate (roadstone, railroad ballast, and agricultural lime), in the Florence and Ft. Riley Limestone Formations. Formerly operated by Behrens Construction Company, the quarry is now abandoned and water-filled (2017).
