Small abandoned mica mine on the eastern side of Carrara Creek. The dumps contains highly fractured yellow beryl, and red garnets in quartz and feldspar. The contact zone between the pegmatite and country rock at the mine also contains abundant large clear red garnets. A perthitic microcline feldspar with an unusual green colour is locally referred to as Amazon stone. There is also small amounts of schorl.
