This valley, drained by the upper course of the river Toce, is the Piedmont's northermost territory, wedged between the Swiss cantons of Valais/Wallis and Ticino. The segment of the main valley to the south of Foppiano village, downstream of the confluence with Rio di Cramec, is named Antigorio Valley [see http://www.mindat.org/loc-2102.html].
