An underground feldspar mine.

Many collectors call this the Amerika mine, but that is not plausible. Read the comment at Kåbuland.

In 2004 (?) the Kåbuland 6 mine was emptied for water, and many good thortveitite specimens were collected. In 2017 the mine was again emptied, and an even larger quantity of thortveitite was collected, among which a specimen containing at least 1 kg of thortveitite.
That zone is now no longer accessible.
