A phlogopite-bearing pyroxenite that has been mined for mica.
Concession Ex P.E. 1 092-1 780 and 1844 CONFOLENT, after that Sociéte de Sakoa, after that S.M.G.I (Sociéte Mines de la Grande Ile, worked the mine in 1958-1959) (Besaire 1966).
Besaire (1966) gives these map-coordinates: X = 333,4 Y= 355,2 (Map sheet Ihosy Sud).
In 1944 the total production of phlogopite was 400 ton.
