Sulphur mine located at Cozzo Tondo, in the territory of the former fief of Cimicia, near the border between the municipalities of Milena (Caltanissetta province) and Racalmuto (Agrigento province). Opened in the 1840s, it was definitively closed in 1986.

Before the creation of the municipality of Milocca (later Milena) in 1923, the mine was part of the municipal territory of Sutera. The nearest populated place is Racalmuto (about 3 km to the southwest of the mine), while the linear distance from the mine to Milena (formerly Milocca) and Sutera is 4.8 and 10 km, respectively. For this reason, the indication "Cozzo Tondo (Cozzotondo) mine, Racalmuto, Girgenti (presently Agrigento)" can be found on the old labels and in the literature.
