This is a quarry situated 150 m W of Rossås 2.
The quarry was described by Bjørlykke (1934) as a small test pit but is nowadays considerably larger.
The depth is said to be 26 m.

Bjørlykke reports the presence of considerable quantities of deep red thálenite-(Y).
