Group of small scale artisanal workings for piezoelectric quartz, located at the E, NE and NNW flancs of the Andrarafato Mt., located NW of the village of Antamboholehibe, in "the Ambatofinandrahana area", about 20 km SW of the town Ambositra in the main highland of Madagacascar. Extraction started in 1906. The production reached a peak in 2000 with a production of 1 085 273,80 kg quartz.
