Small abandoned asbestos mine located at the foot of the Ghiacciaio della Rossa northern moraine, in antigorite schist of the Geisspfad ultramafic complex.
Although some exploitation attempts were carried out in 1826 and around 1850, the main workings are dated between 1919 and 1939.
