Pomianów-Doboszowice gneiss deposit,
Kopalnia Gnejsu Pomianów-Doboszowice sp.z.o.o

The Doboszowice Metamorphic Complex is located east of Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. Gneisses of the Doboszowice Metamorphic Complex form "islands" within the Cenozoic formations. The western and central part of this complex is built of leucocratic two-mica gneisses (Gneisses from Doboszowice), created as a result metamorphism of syntectonic granitic intrusion. The age of this intrusion was initially estimated at around 380 Ma. The tectonic position of the Doboszowice Metamorphic Complex is unclear. It is treated either as part of the Kamieniec range or as a separate unit. Leukocratic gneisses are made of quartz, K-feldspar and plagioclase, minor components include biotite, muscovite, and sometimes garnet. Accessory minerals are represented by zircon, apatite, allanite and ilmenite.
