An U occurrence located in sec. 25, T25N, R21E and in sec. 30, T25N, R22E, G&SRM, 10.0 km (6.2 miles) N of Wood Chop Mesa (coordinates of record) and 14.6 km (9.1 miles) N of Bidahochi, 12 miles N of Indian Wells Trading Post and 2 miles E of Keams Canyon Road. Geographic coordinates presented are approximate for the boundary between secs. 25 & 30 T25N, R21 & R22E.
Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in "water-laid pyroclastics" as small channel cuts into underlying Bidahochi Formation rocks, on the north rim of a bowl-shaped, depression of explosion breccia and adjacent to vent filling on the SE point of the rim.
