An U-V occurrence/prospect located in approximate sec. 22, T33N, T22E, G&SRM, about 6.0 km (3.7 miles) WNW of Taasahdi Dzil (summit) (coordinates of record), on the Apache/Navajo County line.
Mineralization is an U-V deposit with carnotite ore disseminated in sandstone lenses just below carbonaceous member in the upper part of lower member of the Toreva Formation.
Workings include exploratory drilling.

Stratigraphic Name: Mesaverde Group
Description: Gray to buff sandstone with interbedded shale and coal. These rocks, which are similar to slightly younger rocks that form Mesa Verde in southwestern Colorado, were deposited on the margin of a shallow sea. Rocks of this map unit host the only large coal deposits in Arizona. (84-88 Ma)
