An U occurrence located in sec. 11, T15N, R24E, G&SRM, about 17.5 km (10.9 miles) NW of Hunt. Scarborough states "might be Hinkson Cattle Co. occurrence;" however, data reflect that that latter locality is about 6.8 km (4.2 miles) NW. The geographic coordinates presented are approximate to the center of sec. 11.

Mineralization is carnotite, chalcedony, gypsum and carbon matter in sandy clay and shale of Chinle Formation.

Analysis test results: 0.031% e U3O8; 0.03% U3O8.

Pliocene to middle Miocene deposits

Age: Cenozoic (1.806 - 20.44 Ma)

Description: Moderately to strongly consolidated conglomerate and sandstone deposited in basins during and after late Tertiary faulting. Includes lesser amounts of mudstone, siltstone, limestone, and gypsum. These deposits are generally light gray or tan. They commonly form high rounded hills and ridges in modern basins, and locally form prominent bluffs. Deposits of this unit are widely exposed in the dissected basins of southeastern and central Arizona. (2-16 Ma)
