NOTE: This is not a mineral occurrence locality - it is a mine dump collecting location.

What is known as the upper dumps are the actual dumps coming from the North Star mine. Its mineralogy is different from what is known as the “lower dumps” being that it is not as rich in arsenate or bismuth minerals, and is more rich in tellurium minerals.
