Located on a small hill ca 275 m NW of the dam at southern end of Hægevatn lake. A quartz-carbonate vein hosted in sandstone and green schist of Bandak Group of the Telemark supracrustal rocks was prospected for copper.
The small prospect was probably worked in the period 1745-1758 (Larsen & Åsheim 2019).
