Small quarry in a granitic/pegmatitic zone, probably in connection with the Gautestad granite/monzonite intrusion.

There are signs of hydrothermal activity with partly open veins of fluorite.

The surface of the open veins is lined with tiny (1-2 mm)purple to black fluorite octahedrons.
