An U occurrence/prospect located centered 14 miles NW of the Cameron town site in unsurveyed country, in the vicinity of Red Butte (summit) - see NTMS map locations below. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database.

Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in the Triassic Moenkopi Formation. Radioactivity is associated with 9 resistant masses, probably representing hydrothermal silica plugs, which crop out in the Moenkopi. Pyrite, Fe-Mn-Cu staining, anhydrite, and argillic alteration are associated with the plugs. The Moenkopi beds are bleached around the plugs. Highest radioactivity occurs at the plug perimeters.

Exploratory workings include some minor drilling in the 1950's.
