Cavendish Uranium and Mining Company, Limited, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cavendish Uranium Mines Corporation of New York, U.S.A. The property comprises 55 claims in the southern part of Cavendish Township, Peterborough County.

Granite, pegmatitic granite, and granite pegmatite containing uranium bearing
zones have been explored by surface trenches, diamond-drilling, and underground development.
