Two small-scale kyanite mines are in operation in Daha. High quality inky blue kyanite crystals are cut for gems.

Many nepalese kyanite specimens labeled as "Kali Gandaki" are actually from Daha and most of kyanite labeled just "Jajarkot" or "Jajarkot District" are also from Daha.
