Several quarries between Dietesheim and Steinheim. Now (2008) flooded and marked as natural reserve area "Naturschutzgebiet bei den Steinbrüchen".
A similar basalt occurrence was temporarily accessible during the Main river correction near Großauheim (separate locality).
