Diabase quarry, operated by the Steinperfer Betonwerk Becker GmbH.
Small hydrothermal post-Variscian veins in Devonian to Lower Carboniferous basalts affected by a very low grade Variscian metamorphim (diabases).
These basalts are synsedimentary and belong to the Dill syncline (SE border of the Rhenish Massif).

Located 500 m SSW of Steinperf and about 16 km NE of Dillenburg.
