A former small underground Pb-Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the SE ¼, sec. 36, T.15S., R.29E. Owned at times by the Lone Butte Mining Co., Pawnee Mining Co., and the Big Springs Mining Co.

Mineralization is galena and chalcopyrite in a shear zone in faulted Pennsylvanian-Permian Naco Group Limestone intruded by Tertiary dikes and plugs. Silicic dikes and intrusive rock is mapped south of the Naco Group in the mine area.

Workings include tunnels. A few tens of tons of ore were shipped in 1909 and 1910.
