Minerals found during road construction of a new alignment of the highway E-18 in 2002-2004. The area around Moland was especially rich in mineral specimens. Minerals from this locality were often labelled " Akland, Risør" by local collectors, but the more precise locality is "Moland, Akland, Risør".

Also named as "Akland Industriområde (Akland Indistrial Site).
